Last year, Tamer Products International introduced the new Guillomax Paper Cutter. Guillomax guillotine cutter is the ability to cut up to 360 sheets of paper as butter. Although I can not cut a full ream of paper and therefore not a true ream cutter, the Guillomax has many of the same characteristics as many of the ream cutters available on the market. However, the surprising thing is that Guillomax is priced at half the price of the ream cutters and most other cutters stack on the market. Here is a quick summary of the pros and cons of Guillomax cutter.

Pros:

1. Construction: The Guillomax is very well built. The body of the cutter is made of heavy duty powder coated steel. The cutter includes an ultra sharp blade, heavy metal and handle all tools you need to change the blade.

2. Leverage: With the long handle of the Guillomax, cutting 360 sheets of paper is literally like cutting butter. With our demonstration unit were also able to easily cut through the poly, and doorways clear covers with no problem whatsoever.

3. Security: The guillotine cutter Guillomax includes a shield to avoid that users get their hands under the sheet and also includes a locking mechanism of two-handed operation cutting.

4. The Blade: The Guillomax includes an ultra sharp blade of steel reinforced which is designed to easily handle your cutting needs. This sheet can be easily removed and sharpened (for a professional sharpening service) and replacement blades are readily available when needed.

5. Pressure Bar: A complaint about many stack cutters and ream cutters do not respond well to hold the material being cut in place. The heavy Guillomax includes a destination bar pressure for holding materials in place when cutting. The pressure bar is operated by a separate handle on the drive and is easy to perform and release

6. Stand: A great thing about is that Guillomax Cutter can be used on a tabletop or can be purchased with an optional bracket to make the cut even easier. The stand short for Guillomax paper cutter is designed to provide the user with a lot of pressure to cut even more difficult to cut materials.

Cons:

1. After using the paper cutter Guillomax for several months, there is really one that I have found. The design of the stop Guillomax paper in turn and allows you can make it very difficult to square the cutter. I thought it useful to use a small square of elaboration to ensure that the top of the paper was a perfect 90 degree angle to the blade. Many more expensive stack cutters and ream cutters back in the market indicators are set at an angle 90 degrees to the cutting blade. However, these units start at 2-3 times the price of Guillomax.

Abstract:

As you can see, the paper cutter Guillomax has some amazing features and price point definitely makes it a winner. The Guillomax is ideal for schools, churches, businesses and small presses. However, it needs a little work to make sure your cuts are perfect square. Yet it is by far the best cut of its price class and highly recommend it.
