If you have been a lot of my depth perception Can I learn the art? Is it possible for me to draw?
Well I lost a lot of my perception depth when I was born (and befor that). And I've been telling myself that I can not be an artist although I have a passion for it. I got attract people cartoons. That is 2 charicters dimensions. I wonder if I might go furthur. I am very aware that I am very creative. I just dont know what to do to understand this issue.

I’m Gone $3.98 Winner of the 1999 Prix Goncourt. The #1 bestselling, Goncourt Prize-winning "best of Echenoz’s novels" (Le Figaro). Jean Echenoz’s I’m Gone won the prestigious Goncourt Prize in France and continues to top bestseller lists with half a million copies in print. Le Monde calls it "an adventure story that is also an adventure to read." The hero of I’m Gone is an urbane Parisian art dealer who walks out on his wife and life to join a treasure-hunting expedition to the Arctic, and soon finds himself caught up in a theft. Echenoz’s brilliant narrative–a suspenseful crime caper, a bitingly humorous look at the uncertainties of love at mid-life, and a witty, satirical foray into corruption in the art market all rolled into one–reveals why he has come to be known as "the most distinctive voice of his generation, . . . the master magician of the contemporary French novel" (The Washington Post). Past winner of the Prix Medicis and the European Literature Prize, Echenoz is "in top form" here, according to the Journal de Dimanche, which calls I’m Gone "sheer perfection." |

Gone Primitive $5.48 In this acclaimed book, Torgovnick explores the obsessions, fears, and longings that have produced Western views of the primitive. Crossing an extraordinary range of fields (anthropology, psychology, literature, art, and popular culture), Gone Primitive will engage not just specialists but anyone who has ever worn Native American jewelry, thrilled to Indiana Jones, or considered buying an African mask. "A superb book; and—in a way that goes beyond what being good as a book usually implies—it is a kind of gift to its own culture, a guide to the perplexed. It is lucid, usually fair, laced with a certain feminist mockery and animated by some surprising sympathies."—Arthur C. Danto, New York Times Book Review"An impassioned exploration of the deep waters beneath Western primitivism. . . . Torgovnick’s readings are deliberately, rewardingly provocative."—Scott L. Malcomson, Voice Literary Supplement |

Gone With the Wine $19.98 In charming and whimsical detail, Rosanne Knorr shares the delights of life in France’s Loire Valley where the climate is mild, the people are hospitable, and the wine is so plentiful it’s pumped from vats like a service station for winos. She and her husband, John, with their pate-loving dog, Folly, rejuvenate themselves by trading long work hours, traffic jams, and fast food for art, biking, and goat’s cheese direct from the supplier. They garble French but figure out how to earn the best baguettes. Gone with the Wine is not just a delightful story of their life, it also provides fascinating and fresh insights on everyday life, history, and the people of the earthly paradise called the ‘Garden of France.’ Joyful reading for real-life voyagers and armchair travelers alike! |

The Real Gone, Horn Gone Blues $16.48 The Real Gone, Horn Gone Blues Skoot Larson _________________________ When alto saxophone legend and San Pedro native Art Pepper was arrested for narcotics possession and sent to San Quentin in 1960, his signature Martin alto saxophone disappeared. Had he pawned it? Was it buried somewhere in the Los Angeles Police Department’s vast evidence room? A seller on present day Internet auction site, Net Bid, claims to have Art’s horn, and has put it up for grabs, which draws the attention of one Lucien Bezich, a saxophonist in the band of local jazz man turned reluctant detective Lars Lyndstrom. "Loose," as he’s called, is a musical genius, but rather slow, and easily excitable in his day-to-day life outside jazz. Loose wants Art Pepper’s axe badly enough to borrow $3,000 from his mother to place a bid on the horn. For his money, however, all Loose gets is a corpse that’s been strangled with the cord that goes around the saxophone players neck to steady the instrument, along with his own arrest for the "sax-strap" murder. When the Net Bid seller disappears as well, The police discover that this same suspect is also being sought for questioning in the theft of over a million dollars worth of container cargo from the Port of Los Angeles. Can Lars untangle this web to save his friend and fellow musician? If so, it will require another satori from Lars to solve this Zen-jazz mystery. |
